Fariba

Fariba is a great friend of mine. Originally from Iran, Fariba is a retired nurse living with her husband, two wonderful sons, and one super smart cat in Florida. She is the most gentle soul I've ever met.
Q & As between Fariba and Me
1. What is your favorite dish to share with family and friends?
Fariba: Tachin. I cook lamb or chicken with sweet spices like cinnamon. Saute raisin, dried apricot, dates and onion. Then mix them with rice and cook together. It's so delicious!

2. What do you think are the most important values for your children to learn?
Fariba: Kindness is the most important value. The second is being respectful, being focused in life, and living healthily.

3. What brings you great joy?
Everyone around me is peaceful and contented. That brings such joy to me.
